Location: 📍- Plymouth, MA. Project Type: 💡 - LED vapor tight fixtures. The fixtures we installed were only 59Watt vs. the old 173Watt industrial fixtures. We used 8' LED vapor tight fixtures in place of the old 8' industrial bodies, reducing the need to patch holes from the retrofit. Savings: 🔋, 💵 - Savings of over $6,000.00 per year. With utility incentives, they have a 1.3 year payback. With the savings, their next task is to scrape and paint their ceiling! Testimonial: The shop looks great! B&B Autobody welcomed CES with open arms. Their existing lighting was primarily 8' T12 lamps in old industrial fixtures. They also have gas fired modines on rheostat/dial thermostats. CES provided much improved lighting using energy saving vapor tight LED fixtures and programmable thermostats to help save therms and regulate their heating.
Teaming with B&B's owners, our approach to this project was to maintain or improve the lighting output. We also wanted to ensure there was limited maintenance to keep the new lighting clean. They were constantly challenged by having open lamp fixtures that were covered in paint and dust particles from sanding down vehicles.
